Palm Treo 700w Review

I purchased the Palm Treo 700w about a month ago and have been using it on the Verizon Wireless server. The first complaint I had was that Verizon automatically tried tacking on the 34.99 unlimited data plan. I had no intentions of using this phone for email and internet right out of the box. I wanted something to use as a phone and an organizer.

The phone has been great. I am moving on from a motorola v710, that had so much dust under the screen that i couldn’t read it in the daylight to this phone. The service has been good, I don’t get quite as good reception, since this phone is 100% digital, whereas the v710 had analog and digital. The phone seems large, but doesn’t feel out of place being held up and talked on conventionally. The phone features bluetooth, which I have to be honest, I am disappointed with as a technology as a whole. Three different phones(v710, treo 700w and samsung vx8600) have all had poor reception and lots of static with both bluetooth headsets I have used. Luckily, the phone has a 2.5mm jack to use a standard wired hands-free device. Read more »
