Another steller performance for Mike Tarsi and the Elizabethton Twins

Tarsi throws three shutout innings in professional debut

Wednesday night Mike Tarsi debuted for the Elizabethton Twins and threw 3.0 innings of 1 hit baseball. The opening batter of the game hit a pop up between the short stop and third baseman. A miscommunication between the two led to the ball dropping untouched. This would be the only batter to reach base off of Tarsi as he sent the next 9 batters right back to the bench. Tarsi struck out two in his appearance and the Twins went on to win the game 9 to 7 over the Danville Braves. The win brings the E-town Twins record to 7-0 to lead the APP West and remain the only undefeated team.
